80 days from transplant – first offered to the public in 2015 by Victory Seeds, Tatiana’s TOMATObase and Sample Seed Shop. Chocolate Lightning is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium to medium large fruit that ripen to a brick red chocolate color with vertical green and gold stripes. The flavor is well balanced and rich. It originated from a cross made by Vince Lavallo between Dwarf Wild Fred (a Dwarf project release from 2010) and Beauty King and named Beauty. Chocolate Lightning was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier.
