Dwarf Scarlet Heart

Dwarf Scarlet Heart originated from a cross between Anna Banana Russian and Roza Vetrov made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2007 named Nosey F1. Dwarf Scarlet Heart is a mid-season regular leaf dwarf producing abundant small to medium 4-6 oz tasty meaty red hearts. Plants are compact at around 3 ft and have a wispy-leaf version of dwarf foliage so they are less dense than other project varieties. Dwarf Scarlet Heart was selected and named by project volunteer Linda Black.

Iditarod Red

60 days from transplant - first offered to the public in 2011 by Tatiana's TOMATObase. Iditarod Red is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces round medium to medium small fruit that ripen red, some of which can have a bottom point. The flavor is mild and sweet, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Budai Torpe and Black from Tula and named Grumpy. Iditarod Red was selected and named by Susan Bailey.

Kangaroo Paw Red

Kangaroo Paw Red originated from a cross between Budai Torpe and Cherokee Green made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Witty F1. Kangaroo Paw Red is an early-season regular leaf dwarf​ and is the direct parent of Kangaroo Paw Brown, Kangaroo Paw Yellow and Kangaroo Paw Green. This variety has abundant small red fruits that have a robust full tomato taste. Plants have sturdy stems, robust rugose foliage, and reach about a metre+/ 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by Patrina Nuske Small.

Sturt Desert Pea

Sturt Desert Pea originated from a cross between Wilpena and Cherokee Purple in 2008 made by Patrina Nuske Small named Plentiful F1. Sturt Desert Pea is a mid-season regular leaf dwarf that produces abundant yields of 4-8oz tasty oblate shiny red fruit. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season. The name originates from a brilliant shiny red and black flowered leguminous plant native to the desert regions of Australia where British explorer Charles Sturt searched for an inland sea during Australia's early days of European settlement. This variety was selected and named by Patrina.

Sweet Scarlet Dwarf

75 days from transplant - first offered to the public in 2014 by Heritage Seed Market. Sweet Scarlet Dwarf is a potato leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium to medium large fruit that ripen scarlet red. The flavor is intense and delicious with perfect balance.. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Elbe and named Tipsy. Sweet Scarlet Dwarf was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier

Tanunda Red

Tanunda Red originated from a cross between Wilpena and Cherokee Purple in 2008 made by Patrina Nuske Small named Plentiful F1. Tanunda Red is a mid-season rugose regular leaf dwarf with prolific medium-large 6 - 10 oz oblate rich red tomatoes. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was grown by a project volunteer, who lives in a town called Tanunda located in a beautiful wine-growing region of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, and was named by Patrina.

Waratah

Waratah originated from a cross between Wilpena and Cherokee Purple in 2008 made by Patrina Nuske Small named Plentiful F1. Waratah is a mid-season rugose regular leaf dwarf with prolific medium to large 6 - 12oz oblate red densely fleshed tasty fruit. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season and need staking to support the weight of fruit. This variety was selected and named by Patrina. The Waratah is a large native Australian red flower, the floral emblem of New South Wales where Patrina currently lives.

Wilpena

Wilpena originated from a cross between Budai Torpe and Stump of the World made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2005 named Sleepy F1. Wilpena is ​ an early to mid-season rugose potato leaf dwarf with excellent yields of medium 5 - 8oz oblate red fruit, smooth tender and delicious. Plants reach around a metre+ / 3-4 ft by end of season. This variety was selected and named by Patrina. The Wilpena Pound is a huge natural mountainous amphitheatre in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia.
