Description
70 days from transplant – first offered to the public in 2016 by Heritage Seed Market. Tennessee Suited is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces oblate medium to medium large fruit that ripen to a dusky rose purple hue with green vertical stripes. The flavor is well balanced, rich and sweet, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Rosella Purple (a 2010 Dwarf Project release) and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye and named Tidy. Tennessee Suited is considered a close cousin to another Dwarf Project variety, Adelaide Festival, and was selected, named and developed by Susan Bailey and Ted Maiden.
