Description
75 days from transplant – first offered to the public in 2012 by Sample Seed Shop. Dwarf Kelly Green is a regular leaf dwarf variety that produces round medium sized fruit that ripen with green flesh and clear skin, often with a pale pink blossom end blush. The flavor is well balanced and sweet, and the variety is quite prolific. It originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between Golden Dwarf Champion and Green Giant, named Sneezy. Dwarf Kelly Green was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier after his wife’s uncle Edward Kelly, a truly warm and wonderful human being, Ed, being Irish, seemed to be perfect honorary for this new green fleshed variety.
