Banana Toes
Banana Toes has regular leaf dwarf plants which produce a heavy yield of medium sized (3 ounce average) bright yellow Roma-type fruit with the classic consistency of a paste tomato. The flavor is mild and pleasant, and the fruit keep for a long time after picking. It should be considered an early to mid season variety.
Description
Banana Toes originated from a cross made by Craig LeHoullier named the Speckly family between Dwarf Tomato Project release Dwarf Golden Heart and the indeterminate variety Speckled Roman. Banana Toes was selected and named by Gina McDermott in 2017. The regular leaf dwarf plants produce a heavy yield of medium sized (3 ounce average) bright yellow Roma-type fruit with the classic consistency of a paste tomato, making them perfect for sauce, paste and preserving. The flavor is mild and pleasant, and the fruit keep for a long time after picking without losing quality. It should be considered an early to mid season variety.
